S Take Route
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
S Take Route stores your home layout, including rooms, connections, storage points and tasks, and the cleaning scenarios and history that you choose to create. These records remain on your device and are copied to the application server when synchronization is available. The app creates a random installation secret in the device Keychain. The server receives that secret with API requests, stores only its SHA-256 hash as an access key, and does not require an account, name or email address. Network requests necessarily expose technical information such as an IP address to the hosting infrastructure; the application does not write request bodies, secrets or IP addresses to its own logs.
How we use information
The app uses your layout and tasks to plan cleaning routes, resume your work and show cleaning history. The server stores copies of the layout, saved scenarios and history so the same installation can synchronize after an offline period. The installation secret is used to limit API access to that installation's records. We do not use these records for advertising, profiling or analytics.
Service providers and sharing
The backend and its SQLite database run on Railway, which processes requests and hosts the application data as an infrastructure provider. Network and infrastructure logs may be processed by Railway to operate the service. We do not add advertising, analytics, email delivery or other application data recipients. We do not sell your information.
Data retention
Server records are kept while the installation uses synchronization and until a deletion request for that installation is processed or the service is discontinued. Local records remain on the device until you remove them in the app or remove the app and its data. The app does not create a separate application-managed backup archive. Infrastructure backups or logs, if present, follow the hosting provider's configured lifecycle; this app does not set or promise a fixed expiry for those copies.
Deleting your information
The app provides an action to delete the current installation's server data. It sends DELETE /user-data with the installation secret, and the server removes that installation's layout, scenarios and history from the active SQLite database. A separate local reset removes local app data. Deleting server data does not automatically remove local records, and deleting local data without first deleting server data can leave the server copy inaccessible if the installation secret is lost. Any infrastructure backup copy, if present, is removed under the host's backup lifecycle rather than immediately by this API. After server deletion, this installation pauses automatic backup until you explicitly choose Sync now; later local edits do not automatically recreate the server copy while backup is paused. A local reset also pauses automatic backup so an older server copy is not silently restored; choosing Sync now explicitly resumes backup. If you later choose Replace server backup after a local reset, the app deletes the old active server records for this installation and uploads the current local records.
Permissions and your choices
The app may ask for permission to schedule local cleaning reminders. You can deny or withdraw notification permission in iOS Settings; route planning and stored cleaning records remain available. Synchronization needs a network connection and the installation secret. You can use the main planning and cleaning features offline, with changes queued on the device for later synchronization. The app does not request location access.
Your privacy rights
You can view and edit your layout, scenarios and history in the app, reset local records, and delete the current installation's server records. For privacy questions or requests, write to Cranbourne0Penrose@icloud.com. Include only information needed to describe your request; there is no account or email address associated with server records, so a request sent by email alone cannot prove control of an installation. Access to or deletion of a particular installation's server records requires its installation secret.
Security
The installation secret is generated on the device and stored in Keychain. API requests use HTTPS when deployed, and the server stores a SHA-256 hash of the secret rather than the secret itself. Server queries include the hashed installation key to keep each installation's records separate. No system can guarantee absolute security; protect access to your unlocked device and keep its software updated.
Children’s privacy
S Take Route is a general household planning app and is not designed specifically for children. It does not ask users for an age or intentionally collect a child's name or contact details. A person who believes a child has entered personal information in a layout or task can remove it in the app and use the server deletion action, or contact Cranbourne0Penrose@icloud.com for guidance.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its storage or its service providers change. The current policy will be published at this page with a revised effective date. Material changes to how the app handles information will be reflected in the app or the published policy before they take effect where practical.
